Seattle - The High Dive

Seattle - Sunday, January 20th

We got up real late and had a gourmet pancake breakfast thanks to Eric's friend, and now a friend of all of our's, Debra who we lovingly call Barb. Her real name is Debra but she just seems like a Barb.

The gig at the High Dive proved to be one of the best of the tour. Not only was it a great venue but there were a lot of people at the show as we were sandwiched between two local bands - Joe Gould's Secret and The BGP. It was our shortest set length at 45 minutes. We played:

Fort Bragg
Sit & Stare
Molly
Don't Forget
Roads
Goodnight
Love to See You Smile
She's Suddenly
Summer Roof

this was Eric Frank's last show with us unfortunately - tomorrow we take him to the Portland airport on our way back to Eugene. Eric provides an awesome presence onstage. He is definitely our "lady killer" and adds great harmonies and choice backing guitar. We also have added a really cool beat-box and vocal jam into she's suddenly.

Jason has become a fan favorite. Every night we get a couple people, usually attractive women, telling us about how much they enjoyed the saxophone. Jason and I have had a lot of time to talk on car rides and in down time and I'm really happy to have gotten to know him better during this tour.

After the show - we drove back over to Bremerton to stay at John and Jill's. They have a place right on the Puget sound and the band was begging to go back over to spend the night there.
