Silverdale, Washington - The Global Bean

Silverdale, WA - January 18th

In a couple of conversations with Jason about touring life - we have come to the conclusion that when you are a band like us doing a tour completely independently you need to places where people "care" that you are there. To us this means that people actually know who you are and will take the time and effort to come and bring friends.

There are a number of people who have really gone out of there way to help us get people to the shows. Last night in Portland, our friend Brian Dezzani really spread the word and got some friends who'd never heard us to come out. This is the best promotion we could possibly ask for because when i friend tells a friend about a new band - it actually means something. People trust a friends advice and it means something coming from someone you know.

Tonight in Silverdale was the same. My friends Jill & John as well as some friends from Bumbershoot in 2006 came out to the Global Bean and got the word out to a whole bunch of friends. The place was packed and we sold the most amount of CD's since the first show in Placerville.
